THE RIGHT TO REST

Theraflu is fighting for a flu-safe world. However, this world is impossible to have if people continue to go to work sick. 

To draw attention to this issue, particularly the barriers facing Black and LatinX women from getting the rest they deserve, Theraflu is launching The Rest & Recover Fund - a series of microgrants that provides a day of sick pay for those who need it.  

By helping more Americans access their right to rest & recovery, Theraflu wants to challenge perceptions and ultimately advocate for a world where rest & recovery time is viewed as a basic right, not a benefit.  

To raise awareness of the fund, we partnered with a spoken word artist, Suzen Baraka, to create a piece drawn from her own experiences with lack of paid sick leave. This piece extended to a 360 digital and social campaign leading to a landing page on Theraflu’s website where consumers could learn more about the initiative.
